I’m writing this as I wrap up binge watching OITNB. I have to be honest and say that this season was not my favorite. I felt like the whole season just dragged on forever and I found myself daydreaming, browsing the nordstrom website, and catching up on youtube tutorials during episodes. I even skipped a few episodes because I just couldn’t take it anymore (lol!). I can say the final episode was pretty good but I don’t think I will be tuning in for season 7. This show just doesn’t do it for me anymore. It’s just not funny or entertaining like it used to be.
In other news, I haven’t been blogging much this week because I have had family in town since Wednesday. My husbands dad surprised us with a visit this week so we were running around the city doing tourist-y things lol! I never really realized how many tourist-y things there were to do in Charlotte but we definitely enjoyed ourselves! My husband and I had a wedding to go to on Friday so we brought his dad along. At first, I was nervous because I didn’t want his dad to feel like a third wheel but it ended up being a blast! His dad is seriously so much fun and I cannot wait for him to come back for a visit.
A quick update on my #nsale try on post: I am still waiting on items to arrive. Nordstrom is usually really quick about shipping but I am sure the high volume of sales is the reason for the delay. I did wear the black version of the dress to the wedding on Friday and a posted a few pics on insta (@ElleRyans). I am wearing a large but I should have gotten a medium but it wasn’t available.
In the mean time, the items that I purchased are:
