Basic Jeans and Bodysuit Combo

I told ya’ll on instagram that this corner of my room would be a staple this summer! I literally have no where else to take pictures in my apartment because there are baby items everywhere! I am so ready, happy, excited to move…lol 🙂 August cannot get here fast enough! Would you guys like to see an empty apartment tour of our current place once everything gets cleared out? I really LOVEEE and will miss this place. This is the second apartment D and I got after being married and we have been here a few years. We brought Sage home here so it will be sad to see it go but we for sure need more space. How are babies so small but take up so much room? Who knew?!

Any way, I hope you guys are good and that you are staying safe and healthy. How was everyones week? Mine was great! I FINALLY got cleared to resume working out post baby so I am super excited to get back in shape. My blood pressure isn’t completely back to normal but I am hoping working out will help it come back down. For those of you that don’t know, I got into running every day right before I got pregnant with Sage and stopped as soon as I got pregnant because I was afraid I would fall. Now that he is here and healthy, I want to start back up and get my body back together. The good thing is I have lost all of my baby weight and then some so it’s not so much about losing weight but more so about feeling like myself and toning up. I think it’s so important to take time some time to focus on you after having a baby. It is veryyy easy to get caught up in all things baby. IMO, a happy mama makes for a happy baby. I have quickly learned that it is okay to take a moment to just breathe and collect myself. Sage can deff pick up on me being overwhelmed and will start to get more fussy than usual when I am flustered. We have much better and more fun interactions when I am happy and focused on him. He deff deserves my best self.

The outfit I have on in the pics above is SUPER basic but that’s exactly why I love it. You can really dress this outfit up or down with the accessories (shoes, bags, earring, necklaces, etc.) that you add to it. For me I would add these wedges (on sale or these), this hat, and these earrings ( under $10) to make for a casual but still very put together look. I would most likely wear this lipstick (in penelope pink), lip liner (in foxy brown), and gloss combo because I loveee nude pink lips. To finish off the look I would wear my cognac celine mini luggage handbag. I bought this handbag on consignment back in February after being on the hunt for this combo for a few months. As soon as I saw it I swiped it up because I knew the chances were VERYYYY slim of me seeing it again. Unfortunately, I can’t find another one to link but I do love this designer handbag and this similar affordable option!
