Outfit Details:
Jacket (comes in black too! I am wearing a medium) / Shirt (similar here and on sale for less that $20!) / Jeans (I couldn’t find my exact pair but these are super cute and on sale) / Shoes (I found these thrifting so they are an older style but Gucci has some newer versions available here …I am eyeing the platform version)
Happy Monday!
SOOO to make up for my lack of adventure last weekend I made sure to get out of the house this weekend. One of my friends, knowing my love for luxury items (Hey Mary!), told me about a luxury consignment pop-up shop near where we live. This pop-up shop is called the green jeans consignment sale and only happens four times a year: twice in the spring and twice in the fall. Unfortunately, yesterday was the last day for the spring sale but if you live in the Charlotte area or surrounding, you should for sureee make your way to the fall sale. The sale is GOOD! (Like authentic Louboutinβs under $200 good!! ) Pretty much any luxury brand you can think of, they have! There was even a CHANEL bag there (GASP!).
I’ll be really honest, I had pretty low expectations for the sale prior to going just because I was going on one of the last days of the sale and I’m not much of a thrift shop person (it always seems like everything is everywhere! lol!) so I didn’t think I would find anything. BUT I DID! I found not one but two pairs of Gucci moccasins for 25 dollars each! Now, at the time of purchase, I wasn’t sure if they were authentic. Iβve done some pretty extensive research and I believe they are real but I still want an expert to confirm it so Iβm taking them to a luxury boutique to get them checked out.
Here I have styled them (after heavily sanitizing of course) with black jeans and this military jacket from Free People. The only complaint I have is that they are really hard to get on but once they are on, they are super comfy. I am so happy with my purchases from there and I am really looking forward to finding more luxury items at affordable prices in the fall.
