SO this year I am celebrating Christmas twice! Normally my husband misses the holiday due to his work schedule but this year we decided to celebrate the holiday early so that he could enjoy it. His aunt and little cousin surprised him from out of town and his mom and youngest sister came over. His little cousin and I cooked “Christmas Morning” breakfast and after we all ate, we opened presents. We all had so much fun. Most of all, I’m glad my husband got to enjoy Christmas with his family.
TBH, I wasn’t really expecting any gifts this Christmas. We are saving for a big trip in the spring so I just figured I would get my Christmas gifts then. I guess my husband and his family had other plans haha!
So this gift is from my husband. Lately, I have been obsessed with perfume and I’ve experimenting with different scents so this was the perfect gift! Normally, I wear sweet/vanilla fragrances but I am trying to get away from those scents. The name of this perfume is Peony and Blush Suede. (Such a cute/girly name!) The notes of this perfume are: red apple, peony, and suede. When you first spray it, it smells sweet but as you wear it, it smells more floral. It’s more grown up from my usual vanilla scents but not too overpowering. If you are looking for a new signature scent I would check out Jo Malone. I am considering purchasing the scent Red Roses in the near future.
Now this gift was a complete surprise from my husbands aunt. I was so shocked when I opened the box and saw this because I had been wanting one for a while. The crazy part about it is I was with her when she made the purchase. I even debated on band colors with her! (We were trying to decide between hot pink and this baby pink haha!) She told me this gift was for someone else so I didn’t think anything of it. What an amazing surprise!
I literally cannot stop playing with it! I feel like a little kid!
Lastly, I received this gift from my husband’s dad. He sent us both these gift cards. I have never had a massage before so this will be something new for me to try. I’ve been having some back problems lately so this gift comes right on time. Since we both received gift cards we are going to schedule a couples massage appointment which sounds so fun!
