Happy Monday! I hope you guys had a great weekend! I’m so sorry I haven’t posted in a few days. My birthday is today and I spent the past few days celebrating with my husband and some of my closest friends.
I wore this outfit on Saturday while running some errands with my husband. We were driving around town Saturday morning and saw this really cute coffee shop so we decided to stop. BEST DECISION EVER!! The food was super delicious but my favorite part was the seating. So of course you can sit inside but outside they have rocking chairs with heaters next to them! They also provide blankets that you can drape over you as you enjoy your food and coffee. I was in HEAVEN! I will definitely be back there in the near future.
Anyway, I bought this sweater at Nordstrom on an impulse. I’m usually not drawn to blue or green colored clothing but I just thought this color was so pretty and I just went for it. This sweater is super soft and cozy but very low cut. So if you live in an area that gets really cold I would get a nice thick scarf to wear on top or wear a cami underneath. This sweater comes in a few colors and I am strongly considering buying the purple one. BTW, this sweater runs really big (as most things from FreePeople do) so I would for sure size down. I am wearing a small but could have easily worn an extra small.
I purchased these mules from Nordstrom as well. I am LIVING for mules this season. These are super comfy but I would go up one full size because they do run small. They are very comfortable and the color adds a little something to the outfit. These mules came in a leopard print and also a nude color. I had my eyes on the nude color but they didn’t have my size in-store or online. (BUMMER!)
I wanted a cool metallic purse to go with these shoes but I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on one. I found this cute metallic bag and I thought it would go great with the mules. The bag is more gunmetal than silver (like my mules) but I think they looked great together with this outfit. The best part is that the bag was super affordable which is great because I don’t know if I’ll be into metallics this time next year.
My jeans are from American Eagle. American Eagle and Abercrombie are usually the places i go to for jeans. They are super comfy. I have worn these nonstop since I purchased them. I am super into the mullet jeans this season. At first, I was a little weary of the trend but now I am so here for it!
