Im tying this while catching up on season 21 of Hell’s Kitchen. I have always loveeee cooking shows but Hell’s Kitchen is by far my favorite. Gordon Ramsey screaming while a bunch of chefs scramble around in the kitchen makes of such good television. LITERALLY, nothing is better.
Anyway, I just wanted to catch you guys up on life lately: outfits, hair, planning and pretty much just all things me.
Outfits
I’ve been really intentional about getting dressed and finding my personal style again. Turns out, I’m just always going to be a denim girl. Nothing beats the perfect pair of jeans. My trick to always getting the perfect denim is tailoring. I do this by sizing up 2 sizes and then getting them taken in so they fit like they were made just for me.

This outfit was my fave from the month of September. I’ve had these jeans for monthsss now and had been waiting on the perfect time to wear them. D and I had a date night on a rainy day and I felt like this outfit was absolute perfection for the weather.

I own these jeans in about 3 different colors. They are sooo good and they give the designer look/feel for a fraction of the price. And believe it or not, they fit like a glove without any tailoring. I get a size 4L when its available but when it’s not, I just get a regular size 4.

Hair:
Hair has been my THING this year. I finally found a stylist that I loveeeee and knows how to do my natural hair and can finesse a good wig. She’s LITERAL perfection. If you are in Charlotte or the surrounding area, check out Andrea at BTHAIR Co. She’s done all of my wigs since last September and she has me on a hair care regimen and I’m finally seeing growth and retention with my length. I’ve been experimenting with color a lot this year and have fallen in love with blondes and red. I spent most of the year wearing different variations of blonde and since its now fall, I’ll be wearing my red unit.
Planning:
Ive always loved planning but I’ve been slowing switching from paper planning to digital planning. I just got an iPad Pro and let me tell you….it’s a game changer!!! I’m in loveeeee. I have been using the notability app and I have created my own planning templates that I have for purchase in my Etsy shop. I made all of these planner for needs that I specifically needed but I felt like they were too good not to share.
