I found this recipe on TikTok but added more heavy cream to turn this into a sauce and it’s 😍😍

you’ll need:
1 cup of white sugar
6 tablespoons of butter (room temperature)
1/2 cup to 1 full cup of heavy cream (room temperature)
(I used one full cup to make caramel sauce. The less liquid the thicker the caramel)
1/2 teaspoon of salt (you can add one full teaspoon for a salted caramel)

add the white sugar to a pan on low medium heat. continue to stir until completely melted

once all the sugar is completely melted remove from the heat and add the butter in while the sugar is still hot. stir.

then add in the heavy cream and stir. If the mixture starts to clump up with the addition of the cream, put it back on low heat and stir until the clumps have dissolved.

add in the salt and let cool.
