Hey Guys!!
Happy Saturday!
I am so sorry that this post is up late but I have been sooooo sleepy the past few days. Yesterday I slept through my alarm for my nail appointment and today I did not wake up until about 1:30 pm and I am still extremely exhausted. I could honestly go back to sleep and I probably will when I am done with this post TBH! (lol!)
If you follow me on insta, I posted this outfit last night. I want to start doing posts that incorporate high/low end pieces and more affordable fashions. This is my second attempt at doing that (my first attempt is here) and I am really enjoying it! The blazer I have on is from the goodwill mens sections! I have been on a goodwill kick lately and I have gone there twice this week. Each time, I have found some really good blazers and the best part about it is that they are only $5 bucks! These type of oversized blazed are going for over $100 on some sites and that just doesn’t seem reasonable to me so I decided to go to my local goodwill. This week alone I found 4 really cute oversized blazers in different colors and patterns that I can wear all year round. This black one is probably my favorite because I loveeeee wearing black and I always have. At one point my parents pulled me aside (in the grocery store) and asked if I was okay because I wore so much black (true story!!). I think the only thing that I would change about this is the buttons. I think this would look so cute and chic with gold buttons but that is a simple fix. I can just grab some buttons from Michaels and swap them out myself .
My shorts are from Target and were only $15 bucks! They are honestly the best shorts I have ever owned up to this point because there is barely a gap in the waist area. I usually have the hardest time finding shorts because of the sizing. Normally I have to size up a few sizes so that my hips and booty fit and then I have a hugeeee waist gap but I did not have that problem with these. IMO, these do run true to size. For reference, I am wearing a size 8.
My shoes are from Nordstrom rack, I purchased them in store so I am not sure if they will have them online but I will try my best to find them and link them. They are so cute but they are not the most comfortable! I had been wanting a pair of white shoes to wear for summer and I had my eyes on the Hermes Oran Sandals but I just could not pull the trigger on them. I stumbled upon these in Nordstrom rack and I swiped them up. They were $40 bucks which is a great price for some white sandals!
My sunnies, bag, and belt are all designer. My belt is my most recent designer purchase and I love it. I sold the pink one and bought this one. I really should have purchased the white one first but I thought I would get so much wear out of the pink one. Turns out, I only wore the pink a handful of times so I had to give it up! Lets hope I get a ton of wear out of the white one.

Now on to my makeup! I will be posting a tutorial on how I created this look on IG and I will add an affordable makeup tab in my highlights. I created this look using mostly affordable products. I say mostly because I forgot to pick up an affordable primer and setting powder (I did not end up using setting powder anyway). I was deff a little weary in the beginning but I think everything worked out in the end.
Affordable products I used:
Foundation – Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless in shade 334
Lip Liner – NYX Suede Matte Lip liner in London
Lip Stick – NYX Lip Lingerie in Ruffle Trim and Lace Detail
Concealer – ELF 16 Hour Camo in Medium Beige (love thisss!)
Lashes – Ardell Wisipies
Eyeshadow – Morphe Happy Hour Palette
