Hey guys!
I’ve been trying to figure out how to post on here more consistently these days. After weeks of brainstorming it finally hit me that I should do weekly updates. In these updates I’ll share: my coffee syrup recipes, outfit details, planning supplies, mom life updates, and pretty much anything else I can think of. I plan to share these posts every Tuesday morning at 10am est and I will include a link to these on my insta stories. π I’m super excited to get back to blogging more frequently. And without further do, let’s get into itttttttt.
Last weeks Coffee Syrup Flavor:
Sage + Vanilla Bean
I would rate this syrup a 10/10. The sage isn’t overwhelming at all. Instead it has a really nice (and light) earthy flavor that goes really well with the vanilla. I honestly wanted to make this syrup again this week but for the sake of the series, I had to move on to a new flavor. I chose to use vanilla bean paste over regular extract because I really enjoy really vanilla-y flavored things. Vanilla bean paste tends to have a stronger vanilla flavor but if you have extract on hand, that works fine too.
Ingredients:
1 cup of waterΒ
1 cup of brown sugar (I used light brown)Β
2-3 sprigs of fresh sageΒ
1 tablespoon of vanilla bean paste
Stir and let simmer for 8-10 minutes
Allow to cool and pour into a mason jar
Instructions:
Place all of your ingredients into a small sauce pan
Stir and let simmer for 8-10 minutes
Allow to cool and pour into a mason
Church OOTD:
I loveeddddd this weeks church outfit. But the jeans really stole the show for me because of how high-waisted they are. LITERAL perfection! And they were soooo comfortable. I got the while on vacation a few weeks ago and I’ve worn them at least 3/4 times. I would love to have them in black.

What I baked:
Chocolate Cheesecake Brownies
I used this recipe from Broma Bakery and my family loved them. The only modifications I made were adding one shot of cooled decaf espresso to the batter and replacing the vanilla extract with vanilla bean paste.
Here’s the video I posted of me making them (with help from the boys of course ). They are definitely worth making.
