Happy Sunday Y’all!
In lieu of my normal recent purchases post, I decided to do a post on all of the beauty products I loved in October since Sephora is having a sale. The holiday sale started on 10/30 for Rouge members, it starts on 11/3 for VIB members, and 11/5 for Insiders. The sale ends 11/9. The percentage off varies by tier with 20% off for rouge, 15% off for VIB, and 10% off for insider. If you don’t have a Sephora account, you can still sign up now on the Sephora site or in the app. π
So lets get to the good stuff!
Of course this foundation is at the TOP of the list. I lovedddd this foundation in October. It did a great job of blurring my skin. It made everything look airbrushed and perfect! I started off using the color Syracuse which is my normal color in NARS foundations but it just happened to be a tad too dark. I ended up ordering the color Valencia and it is a PERFECT match.
This concealer is thick and covers my ender eye area so well! Having a concealer that is thick enough to hide my imperfections without looking cakey is hard but this one does such a great job. I use the color ginger but I think I want to order a color that is a tad lighter for a little bit more highlighting under my eye. Just FYI, I do have darker under eyes so I have to color correct before I apply concealer. I use this color corrector in the colors 2 and 3.
I didn’t think I would like this one because the colors are cooler than I would normally grab but I ended up really loving it. The shimmers in this one are crazy sparkly. When I apply them I don’t need a setting spray to get them to really shine.
Dose of Colors Liquid Lipsticks
The colors that I have been loving are chocolate wasted and cork. I use chocolate wasted as a lipliner and cork to fill my lips in. This combo creates the perfect brown lip for the fall/winter.
Charlotte Tilbury Lipgloss in Ibiza Nights
This gloss gives a really good shine without being sticky. I bought the color Blondie earlier this month but I didn’t really like it in comparison to this one. Blondie was not shiny and looked almost grey on top of some of my lipsticks. I found myself grabbing Ibiza Nights when I wanted gloss over the Blondie color.
The Ordinary High Adherence Silicone Primer
For $5 this stuff is worth every penny! It does a pretty good job at filling in my pores and helping my foundation glide on really smooth. I find that I get the most out of this product when I let it sit on my high concern areas for a few seconds before spreading it out all over my face.
My dry skin loved this! I just did a full post on my skincare routine here. I have all of my products linked and most are from Sephora! (HOLIDAY SALE!)
This month I found myself grabbing the color chocolat to bronze my face. It really gave me a nice wash of color without being too much or making me look muddy. I set this with the Charlotte Tilbury Bronzer.
Charlotte Tilbury Bronzer in Medium
This is a repeat from last month. I loveeeee this bronzer because it makes me look sun kissed without being too much. I did originally buy the color Tan but it was too dark/deep for me. I might be able to use it when I have more of a tan during the summer months.
Charlotte Tilbury Blush in The Climax
I have a few blushes from this brand but ‘The Climax’ is the color I have been grabbing most often.
