My Favorite Beauty Products for Fall/Winter

Vanilla just screams fall to me and it just so happens to be one of my favorite scents. It just smells so sweet and girly IMO. These are my two favorite vanilla based scents. On the left is vanilla lace from VS. I have built up a stock of this scent over the years. I would be so upset if they ever discontinued it. On the right is a new found favorite. (I may even love it more than the vanilla lace!) Its Elizabeth and James Nirvana Bourbon. I learned about this scent from a youtuber and I have purchased two rollerballs to keep in my purses. This scent smells like cake and bourbon all at once. It reminds me of the holidays because the scent is sweet but warm. (If that’s even a thing haha!) If you are looking for a fall scent that’s a little grown up I would definitely suggest this.

This is the Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting foundation. I have this foundation in three different shades but the one I use in the fall/winter months is beige. This foundation gives a nice dewy-look and is extremely lightweight. I purchased this with the intention of wearing it during the summer but my skin is waaaaaayyyyy too oily for me to even touch this  foundation then. It gives me the right amount of dew without being greasy in the winter months. Also, this foundation runs a little warm so definitely go into your local Sephora or Ulta to get shade matched. (make sure you go outside with it on to see the true color in natural light)

This palette houses all of the warm tones I love to use on my eyes during the fall/winter. Nuts About U and Peanut Butter are my go-to’s. I love to just dust them in my crease and on my lid to warm up my eyes. (They also make great transition shades) These colors also look really nice blended under my lower lashes.

Now this little gem is absolutely amazing! This has to be the best concealer I have ever used. I use the color sand. The Sephora site describes it as medium with neutral undertones. I have a hard time finding concealer that brightens my under eyes and doesn’t crease. This concealer does both and then some. If you’re looking for a new concealer, I would definitely try this one out.

From right to left:
I have really dry lips and I am always trying new lip moisturizers. As a kid I would always have gloss or vaseline slathered on my lips to keep them moisturized. My parents would make fun of me because I would go to bed with my lips doused in some sort of lip moisturizer. My current favorite is Baby Lips Dr.Rescue. This moisturizes your lips without being too greasy. I also really love the EOS eggs.  I would have added one of my eggs into the pictures but I could not find one of the 100 I have around my apartment. (Story of my life! One will probably pop up after I post this) You can find both of these at your local drugstore or Target.
Next is Bite Beauty lipstick in Souffle. This is an amazing lipstick all year round but adds a nice touch of pink in the fall. I am so guilty of wearing tons of black and grey in the fall and winter months so occasionally I like to spice up my lips with a nice pink lipstick.
Lastly, I have two glosses. The one on the right is by Dior and the one on the left is by Fenty. The Dior one does have some plumping properties but it doesn’t tingle or burn. The color I have is no longer on the Sephora site but they have a few other colors that are pretty close. The Fenty one is super glossy and I love that. The gloss only comes in one color. (wish there were more!)  I love to use it with a brown lip liner that is slightly darker than my natural lip color , like cork by mac,  and then put the gloss on top!!

Last but certainly not least, my favorite blush for fall. This blush is called “Devil” and its by MAC. The color in the pan seems really intimidating but with a light hand, this blush give you that rosy cheek that reminds me of fall. This cheek color and a nude lip are an amazing combo!
