Hey guys! Can you all believe Christmas is Monday?! I can barely believe it. Where has the year gone? Today’s post is all about styling my favorite fall/winter color, terracotta. I have literally always loved this color but I was always afraid of wearing it. The color is so bold and it always intimidated me but this year I decided to just try it out. Below,  I explain exactly how I chose to put this outfit together! πŸ™‚ Enjoy!

1st, lets talk about the center of this outfit. This sweater is AMAZING. Other than the rich color, this sweater is super thick and warm. It does come in two other colors which are also just as beautiful. I also own the wine colorblocked version. I have been trying to purchase the cream version but it sells out so fast I haven’t been able to get my hands on it. (BUMMER!)  The fit of this sweater is a bit odd though, IMO. In order for me to get the fit that I liked I had to size up to a large. I did this because the sweater runs short and if I had purchased a small the sweater would not have given the slouchy/relaxed look that I love in the cooler months.

I purchased these leggings while out shopping with my mom two weeks ago. I would not normally go into WHBM but my mom wanted to pop in so I just decided to take a look around. These leggings were on sale for about 30 bucks and the quality was pretty amazing so I knew I had to grab them! I wish I would have gone down a size because they do stretch out as you wear them. I really like these leggings because they have pockets on the back so you don’t have to worry about wearing a long shirt because they look like pants.

As you all know I am obsessed with mules this season! I found these while Black Friday shopping at Macys. They are so cute and comfortable. I was drawn to these because I thought the suede really stood out from the standard leather mules. I will for sure be getting a lot of wear out of these this winter.

I stumbled upon this handbag while browsing the Nordstrom website one evening. I love the contrast of the smooth leather and suede, I think it makes the bag look more expensive that it really is. Also, this bag reminds me of the Chloe Faye bag and I think this is a good way to test out if I want to make an investment in the Chloe version. This bag isn’t heavy at all. The only thing I don’t like about it is that you have to be super careful about not staining the suede part of the bag with lotion or lipgloss. Other than the potential for the suede staining, this is a great quality bag with a reasonable price.

Lastly, I have the two things that helped finish the outfit. These bracelets from alex and ani are super cute and can be worn casually or in a more dressed up outfit.

This ligloss is my new FAVE! I love a good plumping lipgloss. (I always have!) This gloss does tingle but doesn’t burn or dry your lips out. I like to wear this alone or with a brown liner since it has a peachy tone to it. I also have the clear version of this gloss. I haven’t used it yet but I imagine that I would probably place it over some of my lipsticks to amp it up. Unfortunately, I could not find this lipgloss on the website to link it. However, I did purchase this in store not too long ago so you guys may be able to find it in your local VS.

I hope guys have a great holiday! Enjoy your time with your close family and friends. Also, I will be doing a giveaway on Christmas day so make sure to check back for details on how to enter to win a Starbucks gift card!
