Happy Monday! Can you guys believe that Valentine’s Day is just a few short days away?! (EEK! I am so excited!) Is anyone else as excited about the holiday as I am? Comment below and tell me all about your Valentine’s Day plans.
I put this outfit together over the weekend with V-Day in mind. I originally purchased these shoes in black a little while ago and I loved them so much that I went back for the red version (and I am currently considering adding the purple version to my closet lol). They were on sale when I purchased them at my local Nordstrom and flying off the shelves like hot cakes! When I purchased these, I figured they would be perfect for a causal but still very cute V-Day inspired outfit. I paired these shoes with this blue and red fringe sweater by Lou and Grey. ( This sweater also comes in a cream and black version) I chose this sweater over something with only pink and red because I wanted something a little different for the holiday. Everyone is usually covered in pink and red from head to toe so its nice to have something slightly different. This sweater is veryyy thick and really warm and also slightly itchy. To help with the itchy-ness, I just wore a tank underneath. This sweater does run pretty small (the sleeves also run a little short) so I went up to an XL which fit perfectly!
