Happy Tuesday!

In true blolgger fashion, I attempted taking pictures with a bouquet of flowers (haha!) and it’s actually a lot harder than it looks. First you have to pick the flowers and then you have to figure out how to hold them without looking (or feeling awkward). I originally wanted peonies (my favee flower) but Trader Joes was out of them so I decided on these really beautiful tulips. They came in a few different colors and they were all so goregous (the colors were so bright!)  that I had a hard time deciding on the ones I wanted. Eventually I decided on the yellow because it’s always been one of my fave colors (even as a kid).

Now for the outfit that I have on, I wanted to keep it simple. When its super hot (like it was when I took these pictures) I don’t like to wear outfits that have too many layers or elements. I really like this shirt because of the little rips in the collars. I think it adds a little something extra. I also went up a size so that I would wear it off the shoulder too. Now that it’s on sale (under 15!), I’m thinking about grabbing another white one and maybe getting the black to wear throughout the summer.

The shoes that I have on are by Steven Madden and they are super comfy. When they first arrived, I was super apprehensive because I thought they looked like Frankenstein shoes (and so did my husband lol!) but as soon as I put them on I fell in love (my husband even commented on how much he liked them which is a plus!). On the Steve Madden website they come in a few different colors (taupe, denim, and black) and are cheaper than what they are listed for on the Nordstrom website (like wayyy cheaper!).
