Hey Hey! This is my second post of the day!(lol!)
I am trying to make up for not posting on Monday! Staying consistent on this thing is so hard but I am trying my best to stay on top of things. Blogging is wayyy harder than it looks…trust me haha! I wore this outfit last week to my little brother’s HS graduation. It’s so hard to believe that he is now an actual adult. Him growing up makes me feel super old and like I need to hurry up and get my life together! lol! This look was little more dressed down than the outfit I had originally planned to wear but as I was getting dressed I called to ask my mom what she was wearing so I could get a good idea of what I should put on. She told me this whole horror story about how the building was going to be so hot because it was going to be so packed and that I shouldn’t wear heels because I was going be standing up. After hearing that, I panicked and I changed my entire outfit. TO my surprise when we got to the arena for the ceremony it was freezing cold 😑 and we got pretty good seats. This was only the beginning of my drama filled day and if you follow me on insta, you got to hear how the rest of that day went. Hint, hint….it was a HOT MESS EXPRESS! But it ended with me getting a chance to go to Ulta which was a win.
Even though it was cold during the ceremony, I am glad that I wore this outfit. I like this mix of soft and edgy and if I am being really honest…I was DYING for a chancre to wear this denim skirt. I had been looking for a skirt like this but I had been having some difficulty finding one that wouldn’t break the bank. Most of the skirts that I saw in this style were well over $100 so when I found this one I was super excited. Plus the price was unbeatable. When I ordered it I paid around $20 bucks but it has since gone up to $35 which still isn’t bad. When I first found it, they did not have my size in stock but I checked back a few days later and they had my size so I snatched it up. It is still available in a few sizes but I will link some other options for this style of skirt just in case your size isn’t available. The shirt was perfect for this skirt! I am in love with graphic tees (as I have said 1 billion times lol). I found it while trying to find a similar style shirt to the one I wore in this post and I liked it so much that I went ahead and ordered it. It is a pricey for a tee shirt but I plan to get a ton of wear out of it.
The shirt ($39) and the skirt ($35) together come in at less than $100 bucks! I think this is a really cute outfit for less than $100 and you can really mix and match the two pieces to get your money out of each item. Especially this skirt because you can wear it now and you can wear it in the fall and winter with booties or boots. The shoes I have on are on the pricey side but I will link them just in case y’all are interested and I will also link a few alternatives in the details section below!
