I have ALWAYS hated Bermuda shorts. They are honestly super triggering for me (lol!). My mom used to only allow me to wear knee length shorts until I was in the 11th grade and it was crazy embarrassing. She felt like they covered my booty more because I have always been super curvy (even in high school) and she wanted to make sure I wasn’t “overexposed”. Regardless of her logic, it just made me feel like even more of a weirdo than I already felt like I was sooo when she finally let me wear regular shorts I swore I would never go back to the awful knee length shorts. That is, until they became trendy again this summer. Because of my bias, I had been putting off buying these shorts but while in Florida, I decided to try a pair out and I actually really liked them. I probably won’t buy any other colors or washes of these but it was a cute trend to try for the day!
