Happy Monday Y’all!
I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was busy yet relaxing (lol). I know that seems like an oxymoron but I promise I’ll explain. The busy part comes form having an almost 5 month old. Last week I thought it was his teeth coming in but this week I am sort of thinking he’s having a growth spurt because he is SUPER clingy. Don’t get me wrong….nothing is wrong with him being clingy (after all he is a baby) but having to be in his line of sight at all times can be a LOT. Any time he can’t see me its full on red face, tears, lip poked out, BABY MAMA DRAMA!! (lol) He’s also been refusing to really nap and when he does decided to take them, they are so short I can barely take a breath before he’s awake again. On the flip side, my weekend was relaxing because when he wasn’t screaming because he couldn’t see me (lol), we spent a lot more time playing and “talking” which was fun. his personality is starting to come in and he’s overall so happy and full of smiles and giggles I just love it. His current fave thing to do is play in our full length mirror. I let him put his feel on the mirror and he giggles so loudly!
Okay okay so enough mom talk. This outfit is so basic but still so fun. I feel like this bodysuit and the jeans makes a good foundation for any outfit this fall/winter. You can really play around with the different accessories (shoes, hats, belts, booties, purses, etc.) to make it whatever vibe you want. This bodysuit is a tad pricey BUT it is really worth is because it really sucks you in….think Spanx in bodysuit form. It comes in black too and I think I will buy that one too just because it’s that good.
This baker boy cap that I have on is also a splurge but also so so good! I love the contrast in the cognac + black because that makes it a tad more versatile IMO. It will deff add something extra to a It is a big snug but I don’t think I would have sized up out of fear of the large being too big. I h
