What I Got For My Birthday

SO yesterday was my birthday! To be really honest, I was dreading this birthday because I feel like time has just flown by so fast. I really wasn’t ready to be a year older but here I am! (haha!) My husband really worked hard to make sure this birthday was super special for me! He’s the best! I wonder everyday how I got so lucky every single day!

I was really in the market for a white bag. I was really considering the damier azure neverfull gm but decided against it because I have two already. While browsing the Nordstrom website I came across this bag and immediately fell in love with it. My husband took me to the mall the same day and made the purchase from the actual Burberry store which was really nice. The sales associates were so kind and attentive. In store, they had a few color options and I couldn’t decide between the pink and white. The sales associate modeled them both for me which was so sweet! I eventually just decided on the white because I just purchased a pink bag and find it difficult to get a ton of wear out of it.

So I’m the type of girl that requires everything to match (haha!) With the new handbag, I needed a new wallet. I had been wanting a card case from Louis Vuitton but the one I had my eye on is no longer available. I chose a card case over a wallet because of the size of this bag. I felt like a wallet would take up too much space. I chose this pink/purple color  because I decided against the pink bag. I figured I might as well get my pink in somewhere. πŸ™‚ I’ve only used it for a day but I really like it and can see myself purchasing another one.

I have had my eye on this palette for a while but I didn’t purchase it because I felt like it was too similar to some shadows that I already had. This past week I received a coupon from Sephora for 25 dollars off of a 50 dollar purchase and decided to use the coupon to purchase the palette. I must say, this palette exceeded my expectations and if you can get your hands on it, you won’t regret it! I can see this palette replacing my sweet peach palette because it’s just that good! I created this cranberry eye look in the picture above using the palette. The shadows are super pigmented and blendable.
