Our New Year Tradition

Hello Everyone! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Sorry I haven’t been posting over the holidays, I have just been soaking up all the time with my family and friends. I hope you all really enjoyed your holiday season.

SO, this new year my husband and I decided to start our own family tradition. Normally, we go to my moms house to eat but this year we decided to mix it up and do New Year’s Day our own way. We both love brunch so we decided to make New Years Day brunch complete with mimosas! (my favorite drink!)

I love mimosas because they are fruity and light. Also, they are pretty simple to make and easy to customize. On pinterest there are a TON of mimosa recipes for pretty much any occasion. Below you will find our mimosa “recipe”.
(Remember this is an alcoholic beverage and should only be served to those 21 and up! πŸ™‚ )
Our Pineapple-Raspberry Mimosa Recipe:

Raspberries or any fruit you choose  (add as many as you’d like)
Champagne (any brand you choose)
Fruit Juice (We used pineapple orange juice but you can use almost any fruit juice you’d like)

1) Add the fruit to the glass. You can add as many pieces of fruit you like. We chose to keep our fruit frozen but you can use it thawed.

2) Add the champagne. Be careful with this step! Champagne fizzes a lot and if you add too much too fast, it may fizz over your glass. (You can fill your glass with as much champange as you’d like.)

3) Add your fruit juice.

4) Serve.
