Sage’s Nursery Reveal

We have an “R” to go on the wall in between the two pictures but it just came yesterday and we haven’t had the chance to hang it yet. I was trying to wait to post until we got it up because the nursery doesn’t feel finished but…..you can’t win em all! 🙂

Happy Saturday Everyone!

I wanted to take a moment to show y’all Sage’s nursery. EEEK! I am in LOVE with his nursery because it is so creamy, neutral, and calming which is EXACTLY what I wanted for his nursery. I wanted him to have a space that was peaceful and relaxing. I am sure by the time he’s old enough to realize what the decor is he will want NOTHING to do with this but for now it’s nice and fresh….just the way I like it. We purchased most of his furniture from rooms to go but got a few pieces from various other places like target, hobby lobby, and babylist. We went with rooms to gofer his room because they offered furniture that would grow with him. For example, his bed will eventually convert to a full sized bed and the changing attachment for his dresser can come off and become a normal dresser. All of his pieces can also be used in other rooms if we decide to redo his room once he’s older. Unfortunately, some of the items from rooms to go don’t have links for LTK so I have linked similar items on LTK and here and the actual links here so you guys have options.

I got my nursery idea directly form Pinterest and copied the picture I found almost EXACTLY. I did make a few tweaks to make it my own and to replace items that I couldn’t find. I am so glad I found that picture because my nursery ideas were all over the place….all along I knew I wanted something neutral but I wasn’t sure exactly how I wanted that vision to come to life without being boring, cold, or overdone. Finding that pin was a GAME CHANGER and I was able to create the neutral nursery of my dreams. The best part of this all is you can recreate this and make it your own because the overall design is so simple. You can change up the accent color or tweak some of the wall decor to really make it your own. In the original picture, the accent color was green but I chose to keep the green because the color sage is a shade of green and I thought that would be super cute from him to have a room with green in it. 🙂

Any way, I have listed everything out that I used in his room for you guys! If there is anything that I missed you can message me on Insta and I will send you the link :). My insta handle is ElleRyans.
