This past weekend my family hosted a family reunion. I always dread family gatherings because they always seem to be drama filled….(is this just my family orrrrrrr??? haha!) I do truly love my family and I know that spending time with them another is precious and a must but there are just so many personalities at once (and everyone seems to have an abnormally large personality) it can be a bit taxing! Luckily, my husband got to join us this family reunion which really helped because I was able to take walks with him and play on the swings which made things much more enjoyable.
For this reunion, we were all supposed to wear our family tee shirt (which no one did…including myself) and show up on time (also, a task that no one completed successfully). I choose to wear overalls because I have seen them all over instagram and liketoknow so I decided I might as well give them a try. I mean in all honesty, if they were horrible my family would have wasted no time telling me and I would for sure know that overalls were a fashion no no. Luckily, no one complained and I decided I would post it for you all to see. The tee that I have on is from old navy and my husband and I wore the same exact one in lieu of not wearing the correct family tee shirt! (haha!)
I purchased my overalls from marshalls and they are the brand hot kiss. If you happen to see these in your local marshalls or tjmaxx I would definitely recommend sizing down because they do stretch out a lot. I will also link a few other options for you guys to try out!
