Hey Guys!
Can y’all believe that its July?! This year is flying by so fast, I can barely keep up! haha! I have had so many things to do and there just doesn’t seem like 24 hours is enough time in a day. I think we either need to extend the day or add another day between Saturday and Sunday! lol!
On to what you guys really came for, this dress has to be one of my favorites so far this summer! It is a Free People dress that I found at Marshalls for wayyyyy less than retail, $40! (can you even  believe that! If you know Free People you know the prices can get pretty hefty so this was a complete shocker!)  So the story behind this dress is that I have always had a really hard time getting ready for church, even as a kid I would: kick, scream, and cry because I didn’t like to dress up. The stockings and ruffle socks were just awful! Eventually, my mom threw in the towel and I began wearing jeans to church, like wayyy before this was a common thing for people to do (in my area any way). I did this for years until recently when I decided I no longer wanted to wear jeans, I wanted to wear dresses to church. Well this began to become a problem for my husband because (if you know me)  I always wake up super late for things and I am almost always late to wherever I need to be. This became a problem because when my husband would ask me to iron my clothes Saturday night in preparation for Sunday morning (so we could be on time for once haha!) I wouldn’t do it because I would insist that this time would be different and that I would wake up early so that I would be ready to go on time. This has almost never happened! haha!! Honestly, who was I kidding?! So now instead of trying to iron my clothes to get ready for Sunday, I just bypass all of the drama and just buy a new dress on Saturday so it’s already ironed and ready to go on Sunday. These days I’m mostly on time and there are no quarrels about me being ready in 5 minutes, 20 minutes later!
So this brings me back full circle to why I’m super excited about this dress being only $40 because buying a new dress every Sunday can get a bit pricey. I will also add that we only go to church every other month (which is another story).

I thought this post would be short and sweet but I guess not! lol! I hope you guys have a great rest of your week and Happy (early) 4th!
