I know its been a while since I have posted here and on insta. Over the past week, I have been dealing with some serious/unexpected family issues. I honestly did not feel like posting and decided to take a few moments to myself. I needed a few days to just take it all in and sort of readjust my thinking and my focus. I have really been thinking about life lately (my blog included) and how I can make sure I am living my best life (for lack of better words haha!). Life is short and I want to make sure that I make the most of the time I have here on Earth. I almost didn’t make a post today but then I just decided to go for it! I mean life doesn’t wait for any of us so…here I AM! 🙂
You guys have seen these shorts on me a million and one times this summer! Ever since I purchased these, I don’t think I have purchased another pair of jean shorts. They are seriously super comfortable and super flattering. When I purchased them a few months ago, they were on sale in Nordstrom and I am honestly waiting for them to go on sale again to purchase another pair. Because of my body type, it is veryyy difficult for me to find shorts that actually fit. They are usually too short, too big in the waist, or too small in the thigh area which can make them extremely uncomfortable or inappropriate (lol! whoops!). But these cover me the way I need to be covered which is a rare find!
This top is comfy, cool, and perfect for the summer heat here in Charlotte. Usually in tops like these I wear a large but for this one I am wearing a medium with no problem. It is a little short at the bottom but since my shorts are high-waisted, it didn’t pose a huge problem. Also, it comes in one other color and its on sale for less than $30!
BTW, we are back to our regularly scheduled program this week! I will be posting new content at least five times a week (my goal is every day but I have to take baby steps!). I’m thinking about doing more posts on beauty and lifestyle to sort of mix it up…what do you guys think about this? Let me know in the comments down below. 🙂
