The Perfect Shorts for Spring/Summer

Outfit Details:
So the previous post was pretty long so I am going to try my best to keep this one short and sweet. Well….I think (lol!) I snapped these Saturday while waiting for my little bro to put the finishing touches on his prom outfit. I really wanted to get a few pics with him to post here but it all happened so fast that I could not stop him quick enough to snap a picture or two. I literally only had time to help him straighten out his belt before he jumped in his car and rode off into the sunset! It was all actually pretty surreal because he was just born like two days ago (lol!). It’s really weird seeing him become a man but I am really excited and optimistic about who he will become and the great things that he will accomplish!

Sorry for all the mushy stuff…I know y’all are here for the fashion so I will hurry up and get to it. The shorts that I have on are going to be on REPEAT all spring/summer. They are seriously so comfortable and flattering. I always have the hardest time finding shorts that aren’t basically panties on me. It all boils down to all the junk in the trunk that I have. Shorts can go from cute to inappropriate on me in a matter of seconds! It’s super annoying because I really enjoy a good pair of shorts but I despise having my butts cheeks hanging out in public so I have to be very careful about my shorts. I purchased these from Abercombie and they were on sale when I purchased them. They do not have an ounce of stretch so I had to go up a few sizes in order for them to work for me. I am wearing a size 31 but I might have been able to swing a 30 if I had been able to try them on before I bought them.  I can’t wait to wear them with platforms (like these) and a tank this summer. Since they are a little longer I won’t feel as exposed if I want to wear them with heels. Abercrombie has a few different styles of these shorts and if you have a booty like me I would strongly suggest purchasing a pair or two of these! The material is nice and sturdy so they will surely last you a few summers.
