My Triple Layer Oreo Crumble Cake Recipe

Hey guys!

We are halfway through the week and I thought I’d share a post about a treat to help sweeten up your week! Today I am sharing my recipe for my triple layer Oreo crumble cake. This cake takes a while to make but the end result is so worth it.  My husband, who is not a fan of Oreos, lovess this cake! He had no issue with being my trusty taste tester to make sure I had everything just right. I came up with this recipe while on Pinterest one day. There were so many good Oreo related recipes that I decided to mix and match a few recipes to create my own recipe.

Cake:

For my cake I used a box cake but I modified the box recipe so that the cake would tase richer and lighter than a box cake normally would.

To make your cake this way, you replace the water content with milk, the oil with butter and then double the measurement, and add an extra egg. So if your recipe calls for 1 cup of water  you will add 1 cup of milk. If your recipe, calls 1/2 cup of oil you will add 1 full cup of butter and if your recipe calls for 3 eggs, you will add 4.
I used the the Betty Crocker Super Moist White cake for the white cake layer. I used the Pillsbury Super Moist Dark Chocolate for the chocolate layer. For the marbled layer I use a combination of the two.

Cake Filling

For my cake filling I used a really simple cake filling recipe. This recipe is really light and you could honestly ice your cake with this filling if you really wanted to. I made two separate fillings (one chocolate and one vanilla) to put in between the cake layers.

1 large box of instant pudding

1 1/2 cups of  Whole Milk

2 cups of Heavy Whipping Cream

Mix the pudding and the whole milk together first. Place this mixture in the fridge for 5-10 minutes.  After the 5-10 minutes, take the mixture out of the fridge and add the two cups of the heavy whipping cream. Stir until the mixture is smooth and clump free.

I used:

Godiva Instant White Chocolate Pudding

Godiva Instant Dark Chocolate Pudding

Cake Frosting:

2 Sticks of unsalted butter at room temperature

2 1/2 cups of confectioners sugar

1 teaspoon of vanilla (of more if you would like)

2 tablespoons of heavy whipping cream

Oreo Cookie Crumbles

Using an electric mixer, mix the butter and sugar together. Add in the vanilla mix and then add in the heavy whipping cream and then mix. Finally fold in the Oreo cookie crumbles.

Layering:

The Bottom Layer:

Chocolate Cake
Vanilla Cake Filling

Oreo Crumbles

Vanilla Cake Filling on Top

The Middle Layer:
Marble Cake

Chocolate Cake Filling

The Top Layer:

White Cake

Oreo Buttercream with Oreo crumbles on top

I hope y’all enjoy!
