This was almost Sage’s first name. For the first few days of his life he actually did not have a name because we (mostly me) were trying to decide between Saylor and Sage. We even let our family members and the hospital staff weigh in on the two names. We eventually decided on Sage because we really wanted him to have a name with a strong meaning and Sage means wise or prophet so we went with that. I secretly still really like the name Saylor and would have loveddddd to use it.

This is name is what inspired his actual middle name, Kenzo. I wanted his middle name to be Kensignton but it didn’t have a meaning that we liked. D actually found the name Kenzo which means healthy and strong. We really liked this meaning and it was close to Kensington so we chose Kenzo as his middle name instead.

9.Dashiell (Dash-Uhl)
We would have nicknamed him Dash if we chose this one. The name and the nickname are sooo sooooo cute but we decided against this one because we wanted to go with a nature name.
