Hey Guys!

Happy Friday Jr. 🙂 I don’t know if its just a new mom thing but all of my days have been moving so fast and blending together. I have no idea what day of the week it is anymore unless I look at my phone or planner (lol!)…is this a problem for anyone else?

I have been spending the past few days trying to order things for Baby Sage’s nursery. I am superrr excited about him getting his own room because I finally get a chance to nest. I was actually really sad about not being able to nest while I was pregnant because of where we live now. (In a one bed room apartment) I had so many ideas and an entire pinterest board dedicated to nursery themes. I remember almost crying about a week before Sage was born because I couldn’t really nest because we didn’t have the space. I felt like such a bad mom because he didn’t have a room. Now that I get to create his nursery I am sooo excited! Once I get everything in and together (and we move of course 🙂 ) I will share on here and on instagram. I really really wanted to keep his space really neutral because that’s just what I’m into right now. I have really been loving clean lines and neutral palettes lately. Something about neutrals is just so fresh, clean, and calming. Since I don’t have any interior design skills I took one of my favorite pinterest nursery’s and just bought everything in that picture of something very similar. I really hope everything turns out perfectly! 🙂

Aside from nursery shopping, I have been trying to get myself more organized. I have been writing more in my planner and trying to be much more intentional about how I spend my time throughout the day. On Sunday I sat down and wrote all of the things I wanted to get accomplished for the week blog-wise and in my personal life. I can say that writing things in my planner really helped me focus this week. I deff was able to check some boxes off but there is always room for improvement. They say it takes about 21 days to create a habit and I hope that this is a habit that I can keep.
