Hey Ya’ll!
I’m getting back into the groove of posting often. I forgot how much fun this was but it deff takes a lot more focus now that there’s a little babe in the house. Today I am sharing what’s currently in my Sephora cart. Well if I am being honest, some of these things are on the way as I type this (lol!). I have been buying so many beauty items since I have been in quarantine it’s sad. Truthfully, buying clothes just hasn’t been on my mind since I don’t have anywhere to go so I have been watching YouTube videos and stocking up on new products. I haven’t had a chance to actually try any of the products that I have listed below just yet but once I get a chance to try them all out, I will either make a post on here or make an instagram story dedicated to my new products.
Foundation
Giogio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in 8.75
I have always wanted to try this foundation but have never taken the plunge because my local Sephora doesn’t carry it. I prefer to buy foundations in person because my shade can be hard to find. Foundations in my shade range tend to be too neutral, pink, or orange so it is much easier for me to match myself in person. Since I have been in quarantine, I decided to just watch some youtube videos and try to color match myself that way. I am hoping that it works out because this foundation always looks sooo good on everyone that I have seen with it on.
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Longer Foundation in 10 warm
I purchased this foundation last summer/fall and hated it but I really wanted to give it a second try. The last time I tried this foundation it dried down cakey, settled in fine lines, and seemed to show a lot of texture on my face. It made me look older than I am so I just returned it. After seeing a few youtube reviews, I decided to repurchase because it looks so flawless on some of my favorite youtubers. I am hoping my experience was just user error and that this second try will give me the result that I want.
Eye Shadow Palettes
Natasha Denona Tropic Eyeshadow Palette (on SALE!)
I have had my eye on this palette for a while and just never went through with purchasing it. I would add it to my cart and then take it out because I just could not justify the purchase. It is not an everyday palette and for $130 I would want to make sure that I got my money’s worth. Since this palette is pretty colorful, I didn’t think that I would use it enough to justify that price tag. Well, it is FINALLY on sale (for $65) so I made the purchase. I can’t wait to use it this summer because the colors are beautiful and perfect for this time of the year. Plus, ND formulas are alwaysssss amazing so I am sure this won’t disappoint.
Huda Beauty Matte and Metal Double Ended Liquid Shadows
I really like these because one end is matte and the other is metallic. You can use each side alone, together, or in combination with a palette to create an eye look. I bought some of these last summer and really liked them. Huda dropped new shades earlier this year so I decided to grab some. The shades I bought are Ca$hmere Robe/Penthouse Suite and Cinnamon Toast/Hella Honey. Ca$hmere Robe/Penthouse Suite is a taupe combo. I normally would not go for this color because it seems sort of boring but I wanted to try something new. I am nervous to see what the taupe looks like on my skin. I am slightly afraid that it will either blend in or just look gray and icky. Cinnamon Toast/Hella Honey is a brown combo and a color I would normally gravitate to. I really want to use it along with the Biba.
This is an all neutral palette which is right up my alley. I am most excited to use this palette out of everything I have purchased because it is neutral. The reviews that I have read and the videos that I have watched have really hyped this palette up so I hope that it lives up to what everyone has said about it. Plus with the price tag, it needs to live up to the hype or it’s going BACK!
Bronzer

Even though the ABH Bronzer is my go to bronzing product, I have been on the hunt for a new holy grail product. I really love the ABH bronzer but I just wanted to try something new since I have been using ABH for so long.

Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick in Blushing Dream
This lipstick is actually from Nordstrom and the shade is a Nordstrom exclusive. I wanted to add it into this post because the color (from what I can tell online) is gorgeous!! I can’t wait to use it with a brown lip liner for summer.
