Baby Toys Sage Loves

Hey guys!

SO today we are taking a break from fashion to talk all things baby! (lol) I know a few moms that are having a baby soon or that just had babies and I figured it might be helpful to see what toys Sage loves just in case any moms are curious about toys to buy. If you’re like me then you have/had no idea that babies need toys. I thought they just snuggle and stare at the ceiling but that is not the case. Their brains are growing and like you and I, their brains need to be stimulated. Sage really loveeeesss toys that make a lot of noise or toys that play music. He also really likes toys that make crinkle-y noises (the noise when you ball up tissue paper or grocery bags). I have listed out all of his fave toys for y’all to shop!

Baby Trend Activity Gym (this is a good one too!)

Your baby can really work on practicing to stand up with this one because of the platform below it. The platform can be adjusted or taken off completely when the time comes. This toy makes a lot of noise and keeps him pretty occupied. After about 15 minutes or so in this Sage usually takes a good nap. He really like the flower rattle and the rotating ball. Each of these makes a bunch of noise.

Baby Einstein 4 in 1 Activity Gym

He LOVESSSSSSSS this one because he really enjoys kicking the piano and grabbing at the toys. You can change the settings to talk about the colors or the animals on the keys instead of playing music. You can also change the language on the piano to talk about the colors/animals in English, Spanish, or French. He can do tummy time on this and he can also lay on his back and kick the piano while he plays with the hanging toys. Once he is older, we can completely detach the piano and he can sit up and play the piano. You can for sure get your money’s worth out of this toy!

Baby Swing

This swing was a baby gift and we LOVE it. Sage usually sits in this when he is sleepy but doesn’t want to lay in his crib. It plays nature sounds, womb sounds, and music and has 6 swing settings. The swing portion detaches on this one and you can use it as a bouncer on its own without the swing part.

Sound Machine

This last one isn’t a toy but Sage loves this sound machine at night. It plays nature sounds, womb sounds, and lullaby’s. It also projects cartoon images on the ceiling which he seems to enjoy before bedtime. He also has a mobile that plays music which he really likes to look and and tries to reach and grab. This may seem like a lot of noise for some babies but Sage spent 7 days in the NICU so he enjoys the extra noise at night.
