New Additions To My Perfume Collection

I am a super girly-girl. I love everything makeup and fashion. (hints the blog haha!) My most recent obsession is fragrance! I have always been a strictly vanilla girl but recently I have started to branch out into different fragrance families. Below I describe all of the scents that have been added to my collection recently. I am waiting for two more fragrances to come in the mail. These are Pomegranate Noir and English Pear & Freesia.
Most of the fragrances I have gotten recently are by Jo Malone. I really love her fragrances because they are very simple and are made to mix to create your own scent. If you are looking into finding a new scent I would definitely try her fragrances out.

I’ve posted about this fragrance on the blog when I showed some of my Christmas presents. My husband gave me this for Christmas and this pretty much helped jump start my obsession with Jo Malone. This fragrance is sooooo girly! I love that its floral but not overwhelming. It reminds me of spring and I cannot wait to wear it in the warmer months.
The notes as described by the Jo Malone website are:
Red Apples
Peony
Suede

Red roses! Red roses!!!! This is THE scent of the century (haha!) This literally smells like fresh cut roses. I will probably be drenched in this scent until I’m 80. I have never been big on floral scents because they are always too overpowering but this scent is perfect. If you are looking to try a new scent for any season, red roses is the way to go. I like to wear it alone or mixed with Nectarine Blossom and Honey to make it a little sweeter.
The notes as described by the Jo Malone website are:
Lemon
Scarlet Velvet Rose
Honeycomb
Nectarine Blossom and Honey is the sweetest scent that I have recently acquired. It smells just like fresh peaches. It’s very clean and syrupy sweet. I have to be honest and say that I am not a huge fan of wearing it alone because it’s not very strong and doesn’t last too long but I do like to mix it with other scents. I generally mix it with Red Roses but I do plan on mixing it with English Pear and Freesia when it arrives in the mail.

The notes as described by the Jo Malone website are:

Cassis
Acacia Honey
Peach
I discovered this scent while watching a GRWM (get ready with me) video on youtube. This is a part of the cologne intense line from Jo Malone so its is a bit stronger than the normal line (and a bit more pricey). I’ll be honest, it’s not for the faint of heart because it is very strong.  This smells sooooo good on its own and also smells amazing mixed with red roses. I really wish the large bottle was available when I purchased this because I feel like I will be using this almost daily.

The notes as described by the Jo Malone website are:
Lavendar
Omubiri Myrrh
Tonka Bean

Blackberry and Bay is a fruity scent with a masculine twist. It does smell like blackberries but not sweet if that makes sense. haha! It smells very tart and fresh. Unlike the other fragrances, I haven’t mixed this and I don’t see myself mixing it simply because I like this so much on its own. Also, Jo Malone fragrances are unisex so if you are looking for a fragrance for your beau this would be a great choice!

The notes as described by the Jo Malone website are:
Blackberry
Bay Leaves
Cedarwood
Lastly, we have Olympea by Paco Rabanne. This is the grown up version of all of my vanilla scents. I may even like this more than my Elizabeth and James Nirvana Bourbon. (Something I thought I’d never say!) This is the perfect date night scent because its very woodsy and romantic. When I spray this my husband is always like “wow, what is that?” haha! It’s definitely something worth purchasing.

The notes as described by the Ulta website are:
Mandarin, Ginger, Jasmine
Salted Vanilla
Sandalwood, Cashmere, Ambergris
