The older I get, the more of a homebody I’ve become. And because of this I’m always searching for new ways to make my house feel like the most luxurious hotel. It’s the little things that help elevate my experience and give me those house to home VIBES. I’ve made a list of all of the things that I love in my home that have amped up my at-home experience.
Buff City Soap Laundry Detergent + Scent Booster
These are new for us and we LOVE them! Our favorite scents are love potion and pink sugar. If you like really sweet + syrup-y scents then these are for you. This week we have been using pink sugar as our detergent scent + love potion for our scent booster. Together they give Victoria secret love spell vibes which is really nice and nostalgic.
Pottery Barn Duvet Cover + Duvet Inserts + Sheets
The fluffiest + most relaxing bedding set up I’ve ever created! I literally daydream about getting back into my bed each day because of how soft and fluffy it is. If you want to take it up a notch you can mix a little bit of scent booster with water and spray your sheets each day as you make your bed to give them that freshly washed smell + feeling each time you get into the bed.
Potty training is doing us in (lol!). In order to keep the house smelling fresh and clean we have to clean all of the carpeted areas regularly. We had a hand held cleaner BUT we quickly realized that we would need a larger one to make cleaning up a lot quicker + easier.
We have this oil diffuser from target. It’s less than $20 and pretty compact which is perfect for us to hide behind home decor + keep away from our kids.
We’ve been using this oil from amazon. It smells like a luxurious Miami hotel. Its key notes are: Fig, Cedar, + Tobacco (top notes) ; Vetiver, Bayleaf, + Hay (middle notes); Black tea + Musk (base notes). Each night after cleaning the kitchen and living room, I fill our oil diffuser with a few drops of this oil + a stress relief oil blend and it creates the most delicious and relaxing environment. The perfect way to end your night after a long day.
